Happy birthday

It was a long wait waiting for the birthday girl to wake up this morning. She slept till almost 9am... She does that every so often as a catch up as she often gets very short afternoon sleeps and doesn't get to bed till 9pm. Anyway, we'd bought some balloons and a few small gifts, just to make it feel like a birthday for her. Good thing we did because as soon as we started saying happy birthday to her she asked for presents πŸ˜€. We're so thankful to God for this little girl. She's such an easy-going, happy girl

We had morning tea and lunch at Punchbowl with Dad and Mum... Grandma brought lovely cupcakes for Kyla -thank you, Grandma!

We put Kyla down for a sleep at Dad and Mum's and then headed out for a while while they babysat Kyla and Lucas. It was lovely to do a bit of shopping without them. Andrew took us for a nice, long extra walk to look for where he'd parked the car. He had dropped us off at the shops but had to park quite far away as he had no coins for parking.... But then couldn't remember where he'd parked the car. So we ended up doing some extra walking as we searched for the road he'd parked onπŸ˜€. Then we headed for a drive to Trevallyn Dam...

After a late afternoon coffee at Dad and Mum's, we headed to the St Leonard's pub for a 15 dollar counter meal. Yum! Good food for a good price! A lovely way to end Kyla's birthday and to farewell Kirilee and Jesse before they head home tomorrow πŸ˜€
