After a fairly lazy start to our morning, we headed out from our cottage to go and have a look around Strahan.  But we soon headed back to the cottage after a tearful Lucas suddenly remembered that he had left his teddy in his bed...and, well, you can't go on without your favourite teddy, right.  Soon Foxy was rescued (and was given a place of honour for the rest of the day hanging from the grab handle above Lucas' door) and Lucas was smiling again... (btw, he's not holding Foxy on this photo, but rather a snow globe that Shiana bought for him)

Then we headed up the beautiful walk trail to the Hoggath Falls.  Not as spectacular as the Nelson Falls but spectacular anyway....

We then headed through to Zeehan where we had some lunch - and Ashlyn insisted on a selfie with me...

We then headed through Rosebery, Tullah, Burnie, before taking a break in Penguin...

Lucas took a great liking to following our route along on the map, so Klya thought she should get into the act as well.  She was so funny, copying everything Lucas said.

We then drove through Ulverstone and Devenport before arriving in Launceston again around 545pm.  After a quick shop and a "hi" to Grandpa and Grandma, we headed back to Pig Mountain to cook dinner which we finally ate at around 7:30pm.  Another long day, but another blessed day too.  Hoping to have a fairly quiet day tomorrow before heading to Hobart on Friday, DV!

Goodnight!

P.s. These photos are all just from my phone...there are much better ones on my camera, but it's just too much of a pain to transfer them without a computer.

  1. it sounds as if you've had another busy day of sightseeing. Those ferns all over the place are beautiful, so lush and green. Can't remember visiting the Hoggath Falls, they do look nice on the photo Shiana put on whatsap.
