Full-on Day
Our New Year's Eve was firstly spent under the preaching of the Word, by Rev Wes Bredenhof. Two wonderful sermons to end one year and bring in the next. Between church services we spent time at Gerald and Rosita's house which was lovely. Last night Dad and Mum VDH came over for a BBQ dinner and some relaxation, etc, before we headed to bed around 11pm as we wanted to be on the road fairly early the next morning...
And that brings us to today... what a full-on, but wonderful, day it has been. It started at Sheffield with those awesome murals. Just incredible! And each new corner and building revealed another masterpiece. We met up with Dad and Mum and Suzanna and Lachlan in Sheffield and walked around with them through all those amazing buildings.
Then we all headed to Tasmazia where we found a spot to enjoy our picnic lunch...
...before being mesmerised by maze after maze and coolness after coolness...
Kyla, as per usual, was a perfect little trooper. Such an easy, easy kid! At about 2pm she decided she was tired, so without any complaining at all asked to be put in the stroller for a sleep...and within 5 minutes she was fast asleep. And half an hour later she was up again, happy, and stayed that way till we finally got her into bed half an hour ago (9:30pm).
After Tasmazia, Dad and Mum headed back to Launceston and we went on to Cradle Mountain. What an amazing testament the scenery is to our awesome Creator God! Such sheer beauty - it always baffles me to think that people could believe that such magnificance could have come about by anything other than Divine Design.
We had to chuckle as we arrived at Cradle Mountain and saw everyone in their huge jackets, beanies, gloves, etc. And out we pile in shorts and thin hoodies. But I think they had the last laugh because we were freezing. We even had to put Kyla into her sleeping bag to keep her warm, and then Andrew carried her (as the paths were not suitable for strollers).

That's why the poor little ones didn't get into bed till 9:30! But it was worth it for the day we had!

Sounds as if you had a full day. Glad that Kyla is so easy, makes it so much more enjoyable to go out if she'll sleep anywhere. Your stomach must have settled after all those winding roads, because you're enjoying your counter meal by the looks of it.
